Edition Policy – THE SELLICK ARCHIVE
Defining authenticity, rarity and trust for collectors worldwide
Why Limited Editions Matter
Collectors invest in authenticity, rarity and cultural value. Every Limited Edition in The Sellick Archive is created to museum standards and produced in strictly controlled numbers to preserve exclusivity.
Limited Editions
Each Limited Edition is capped at the number stated on its product page and will never be produced again in the same size and format.Every print is signed and numbered by Robin Sellick and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.Once an edition sells out, it is permanently closed.
⸻
Framed Collector’s Editions
Framed versions are part of the same numbered edition – not separate editions.
Frames are made with premium hardwood, archival mount board and UV-protective glass.
⸻
Legacy Editions
Legacy Editions are unsigned, produced in smaller sizes, and available for a limited time only.
These are designed as an accessible way to own a piece of The Sellick Archive without compromising the integrity of Limited Editions.
⸻
Future Editions
We are committed to transparency. In some cases, other formats or sizes of an image may be released as distinct editions – for example, a large-scale Statement Edition for gallery display or a special process edition (such as pigment on aluminium or platinum print).
If this occurs, the format, size and edition number will be clearly disclosed on the artwork’s page.
No future edition will ever compromise the integrity of an existing Limited Edition.
⸻
Authenticity & Provenance
Every Limited Edition print includes a Certificate of Authenticity and edition number.
The Sellick Archive maintains a permanent record of all editions and buyers for provenance purposes.
⸻
Why This Matters
This policy ensures collectors can purchase with confidence, knowing their investment in cultural photography is protected.
