Edition Policy

Our edition standards preserve the cultural integrity and long-term value of every print, ensuring that each collector acquires not just a photograph, but a piece of Australian history.

Limited Editions

Limited Editions are hand-signed, numbered, and strictly capped at the edition size stated on each portrait’s page. Once an edition sells out, it will never be produced again in that size and format.

Each print is produced to museum standards on archival Hahnemühle fine art paper using pigment inks for maximum longevity.

Edition Numbering

Prints are numbered in sequence (for example 3/15) and include a Certificate of Authenticity. Collectors may secure any number available at the time of purchase – with early numbers sold openly, beginning from Edition 1.

In the future, certain edition numbers may be reserved for institutional collections or artist archives. If so, this will always be clearly disclosed. No change will ever affect the integrity of existing collector purchases.

Framing

Available as an option for Limited Editions. When framed, all materials – from hardwood mouldings to mount board – meet conservation-grade specifications, including UV-protective glazing.

Future Editions

On rare occasions, distinct formats or sizes of an image may be released – for example, a large-scale Statement Edition for gallery display or a special process edition such as pigment on aluminium or platinum print.

If this occurs, the format, size and edition number will be clearly disclosed on the artwork’s page. No future edition will ever compromise the integrity of an existing Limited Edition.

Authenticity & Provenance

Every Limited Edition print includes a Certificate of Authenticity and edition number. The Sellick Archive maintains a permanent record of all editions and buyers for provenance purposes. This ensures the work’s authenticity and protects the integrity of your investment.

Why This Policy Matters

Our commitment is to transparency, trust and the highest standards of fine art photography. Collectors can be assured that every Limited Edition print represents an authentic, enduring acquisition – created to museum standards and safeguarded for cultural and investment value.
